When we donate to a charitable organization, we help make the difference we’re unable to provide with our own hands. And when you are ready to donate, the first question that comes to your mind is – Will my money be utilized for the right reasons? We understand this doubt as it is human psyche and natural to think in that way.

 

Let us start by stating that we are a 100% volunteer driven organization with no salaried employees. Any overheads are borne by the individuals in the organization themselves. Every penny is accounted for. That should help you to begin with.

 

So what makes us unique beyond this and to call for your attention to donate to Prayosha. Let us start with a quote - “You make a living by what you get but you make a life by what you give.”

 

Prayosha foundation’s mission of empowering women is synonymous to the above-mentioned quote.  We work relentlessly and altruistically to help young Angel(s) (girl child), make her life, build her future and help realize a dream that, as of today, not many have an opportunity. 

 

Prayosha is a performance-based organization where we track the progress of each and every Angel. Eligibility of an Angel is determined through a rigorous selection process. Funds raised are utilized to reimburse for Angel’s education; and our volunteers, through the buddy program, donate their personal time (average 160 hours per year) to reach out to their assigned angel and take them under their wings. They track the progress of every Angel and make resources available as per the needs. This is how we as an organization demonstrate accountability to our donor community.
