Prayosha - A New Beginning!!!
We envision “A society, in which all girls and young women, regardless of race, income level or social status, receive higher education, are nurtured and empowered to reach their fullest potential, respected and treated equally.”
WHAT IS PRAYOSHA?
India is known for its rampant female feticide as well as severe inequalities towards women and girls. Education of a girl child is necessary for the overall development of our country and to address numerous discriminatory issues facing the girl child today.
Prayosha gives a girl child an opportunity to make her presence known in the society by providing higher education and developing their overall personality to be competitive in patriarchy and gender-biased society. Prayosha helps girls between the age of 10-22 who come from socially and economically disadvantaged families, in their secondary and higher secondary education.
Women’s empowerment is actually an essential situation for socio-economic improvement of a country. It’s a word widely used in numerous languages in the world to admire women.
Women’s Empowerment educates and enables women who are homeless, with the skills and confidence necessary to obtain a job, produce a healthy and successful lifestyle.
If we want to give a bright future to our new generation, empowerment of women is essential; it can be a helping hand for a family.
Prayosha offers a wide range of training and programs to ensure that all of our angels succeed. We work closely with parents and local volunteers to ensure that the angels get all the guidance they need.
Going beyond education we offer one on one mentoring sessions, along with leadership training to ensure that our angels are ready for their futures.
